  After getting a massive runaround with a previous vet, I reached out to Hawks Prairie Veterinary Hospital. Thankfully they were open on a holiday and were able to see me two days later. Reception was friendly, clear and professional, able to pull up my previous veterinary visits easily and needed no extra help on my end getting their records. She was very attentive in documenting exactly what I wanted and what I suspected was wrong with my animal. The facility is very large, spacious and clean and looks very very professional. Their equipment is up to date and the rooms are nice and clean with a lot of open space. Nice and calm and quiet with lots of room for people and their pets. Everyone we spoke to was friendly, attentive and made us feel very comfortable in our time of stress. They were very comfortable getting on our level and explaining very straight forward what our options were going ahead. Our Vet listened to us very carefully and went ahead with the procedures we requested as well as zeroing in on what we'd explained was wrong with our animal, as well as explaining to us in very precise terms what we were looking at in terms of treatment. I am very impressed with the work I saw, more so upon seeing my animal, who was so sick she couldn't move for the past four days, now up and playing with her little brother, asking us for attention and being more alert and aware than I've seen her. Even as I write this she's rubbing up against my leg like her usual self. I cannot thank this vet enough for listening to us and taking us seriously in our want to help our animal. Prices were fair and care credit is accepted for those who might not have the funds available for them. Bloodwork is done in house for those who might be interested. I've switch to them as my primary and if asked I would urge others to do the same. Wonderful people who care very deeply about their jobs.

  Wonderful staff and very nice facilities. Everything is super clean and up to date. All of the staff we've worked with are kind caring. They care about your pet just like you do. There is no where else we'd go to get medical care for our bloodhound.

  The caring and professional staff were exceptional in their support throughout the day, while we were making a tough decision regarding our beloved Paco. The amount of time, patience and understanding was heartfelt and gladly given. I hope to never have to go through that type of process again, but if I do, I will most certainly go to this extraordinary place to help with the tough choices. Thank you Dr. Mark and your incredible staff!
